This quaint coastal home needed a major facelift. Check out the before pictures below. We decided to keep the original tile floors and to allocate the homeowner’s budget to other areas of their main living space that would provide more bang for the buck. We added a fireplace insert to provide heating for the entire downstairs as well as glazed porcelain tiles and a reclaimed mantle. The homeowners really wanted additional storage for their young family. Built-ins flanking the tv and additional built-ins along the back wall of the kitchen provided an aesthetic update as well as much needed additional storage. The walls, baseboards, and cabinets were all painted in Sherwin Williams Extra White, interiors doors were painted Peppercorn and the accent walls was painted Naval. All new furnishings, rugs, and accessories and decor transformed this space into a magazine worthy space.
